I just tattooed a quilt

You know, I've never been one to make a 1-sided quilt. I've always liked the idea of something surprising and special when you turn a quilt over. It's just, after spending so many hours piecing together a pattern, something always felt a little "eh" about putting a big blank fabric on the back.

It’s from wanting to create a whole two-sided piece that the Quilt Tattoo was born! I’ve designed (alphabet) sheets in two styles (one skinny, more hand-writting-ish, the other bolder), that can be (cut out and sewn back together) to create whatever message you like. I also made a sheet of illustrations, little bits and bobs, that can add personality to your phrase. And if you love the idea of a little phrase but don't want to make your own, I've got you covered: a sheet of pre-made of phrases and quotes to inspire the recipient of your hard work.

Skinny letters sewn together to make a quilt tattoo with flower illustrations. Tattoo is in a baby quilt featuring 4 patterns: Leaf, Leaf Outline, Stars and Waves, and Starburst

I hope you have as much fun with these as I have! Can't wait to see what you make with them.
